The Exchange Our Knowledge program facilitates Dual Narrative online engagements featuring Israeli and Palestinian speakers. These speakers engage with diverse audiences on a variety of topics, including the current situation and personal stories, politics and leadership, continuous trauma in Israel and Palestine, USA involvement in the Middle East, future approaches from the ground, and a dual narrative historical perspective on the occupation of the land. The program aims to provide a platform for sharing experiences and perspectives, focusing primarily on Israel and Palestine. It offers an opportunity for speakers and tour guides to collaborate and deliver their voices to the world, providing a source of income for those who have lost their jobs due to conflict.

 

Objectives:

• Promote Mutual Understanding: Foster mutual understanding and empathy by sharing personal stories and experiences from both Israeli and Palestinian perspectives.

• Encourage Dialogue: Facilitate open and constructive dialogue on sensitive topics, promoting critical thinking and respectful discussions.

• Highlight Diverse Narratives: Ensure a balanced representation of narratives, showcasing both Israeli and Palestinian viewpoints on historical and current issues.

• Support Economic Stability: Provide financial support to speakers and tour guides who have lost their jobs due to the conflict, offering them a platform to share their knowledge and experiences.

• Educate and Inform: Increase public awareness of the complexities surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, offering insights into politics, leadership, trauma, and international involvement.

 

Achievements in 2024:

In 2024, the Exchange Our Knowledge program achieved significant milestones, organizing 33 online engagements that reached 20 communities worldwide and connected with over 2,000 individuals. These engagements facilitated meaningful interactions and learning experiences between participants and ground-level speakers, fostering a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives. The program also successfully engaged and hired more than 20 speakers, providing them with a platform to share their knowledge and experiences while generating income for those affected by conflict. Through these efforts, the Exchange Our Knowledge program has made a substantial impact in promoting empathy, education, and cross-cultural dialogue on a global scale.
